I use fair trade organic African Shea Butter and African Cocoa Butter which is quite a bit more expensive but worth it (similar to the paper tubes)!

Sol Shine Lip Balms use only pure and organic ingredients. Every lip balm is handmade (by me) with a perfect blend of simple, quality ingredients that hold well in hotter temperatures. Still, because my lip balms have zero preservatives, they will melt in the sun after long exposure. Please keep in a cool environment for best results. If it melts or gets very soft, simply put in the fridge for a few minutes to restore its original solid shape. All of my balms are thoughtfully packaged in compostable kraft tubes, labeled with paper instead of plastic, and shipped in recycled papers.
This zero-waste balm is available in various options:
-Cocoa - a natural lip balm that gives lips a diverse form of protection and hydration - lightly cocoa scented.
-Original - a natural lip balm that gives lips a shiny hydrated look and feel - unscented.
How to use: Remove the cap and slowly push a small amount of product up from the bottom of the tube and apply directly to the lips. Re-apply throughout the day as needed.
